The Cleveland Cavaliers could be moving on without two of their biggest stars by the time the 2020-21 NBA season rolls around.
One of the most interesting teams in the NBA from a personnel perspective is the Cleveland Cavaliers. They have a mishmash of misfit talents, enough to inspire confidence in the franchise’s future while dragging them to a 19-46 record, the worst in the Eastern Conference at the time of the season pause.
As LeBron James fades further into Cavs fans’ collective memories, the team has been looking for a new set of stars to build around. In recent years, the team has used high lottery picks on two promising guards, Collin Sexton and Darius Garland.

While it’s unclear if the two will be able to function side-by-side for the long-term, it’s still an intriguing combination for the team to build around.
But as the new comes in, the old must go. Jordan Clarkson was dealt to the Utah Jazz in December for Dante Exum and a couple of draft picks. Before the trade deadline, the Cavaliers shocked many by bringing in a star talent transfusion in the form of former Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond. All of these moves have left the Cavaliers with more questions than answers.
Will the Sexton-Garland combination work? Is Drummond sticking around indefinitely? What does that mean for the future of Tristan Thompson? Or Kevin Love?
One thing’s for sure: Cleveland has some decisions to make this offseason. Here are three players who aren’t likely to be back in “Believeland” next season.
