Los Angeles Lakers: 5 free agent targets for crucial offseason
By Dalton Sell
Glenn Robinson III
Throughout his ongoing five year career, Glenn Robinson III has not been able to find a stable home, as he had bounced from team to team with very little success. The Los Angeles Lakers should look to continue that trend and take a flyer on the forward in free agency after his outburst this season.

The 26-year-old signed with the Golden State Warriors last offseason on a minimum deal, and had a breakout year for them, before being traded to the Philadelphia 76ers midseason. As it stands, Robinson averaged 11.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game on the season, all career-bests because of his increased playing time.
The forward proved to be a significant threat on the offensive side of the ball, having shot 48.6 percent from the field and an impressive 38.7 percent 3-point shooting line. Having provided an essential spark off of the bench this past season for both teams, the Lakers could have used a player of his talents.
If the Lakers were to pursue Robinson in free agency, he could be a noteworthy addition to boost their bench that ranked 12th this season in terms of scoring. Not likely to command a lucrative deal that could jeopardize the team’s other free agency options, Robinson could be a perfect match for this championship contender team.
With Jared Dudley being the only listed small forward on the roster this past season and could soon be out the door in free agency, Robinson would be a considerable upgrade. The forward may not be among the most noteworthy free agents, but he could be a hot commodity on the market for teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers.
