Dylan Windler

Goal: Lead team in 3-point percentage

Last season, the Cleveland Cavaliers were a below-average 3-point shooting team. The Cavs connected on just 847 total 3-pointers, their fewest total since the 2014-15 season. Overall, Cleveland finished in the bottom half of the league in this category last year.

To address this issue, Cleveland drafted the sharpshooter out of Belmont, Dylan Windler. In his junior season, Windler scored 21.3 points per game on 42.9 percent shooting from deep. His long arms and quick release help him get his shot off cleanly.

Having Windler on the floor is going to help the Cavaliers. His marksmanship will provide plenty of spacing for the rest of the team. With great ball handlers such as Collin Sexton and Darius Garland in the backcourt, Windler should find himself open plenty of times.

In this case, Windler has a great chance of leading the team in 3-point percentage. He has a smooth jumper and is in a position to rack up open looks. All he needs to do is take advantage of these opportunities.

Assuming Windler successfully expands his range to the NBA level, we can expect him to play big minutes with the Cavaliers.
