3. Look for Gary Harris to bounce back from a subpar 2018-19

When Gary Harris began his NBA career back in 2014-15, he didn’t exactly become a household name from day one. In fact, during this rookie campaign, he averaged 3.4 points per game while shooting 30.4 percent from the field and an abysmal 20.4 percent from beyond the arc.

In each of the following three seasons though, Harris increased his scoring output and averaged 17.5 points per contest on 48.5 percent shooting and a more than respectable 39.6 percent clip from 3-point range in 2017-18.

Then last season happened.

Thanks to hip and hamstring injuries, Harris suited up just 57 times for the Denver Nuggets last season and had one of the worse seasons of his young career. He averaged 12.9 points per outing, which is nearly a five-point drop off from the previous season.

His shooting numbers also took a noticeable dip, as Harris shot just 42.4 percent from the field and 33.9 percent from downtown. Both numbers are his lowest marks since his rookie season.

Despite coming off a disappointing season, Nuggets fans should look forward to Harris turning in a solid campaign, if he isn’t hampered by injuries, which is big if considering he has played more than 70 games just once in five NBA seasons.
