On the heels of an active offseason, the Chicago Bulls are hoping to contend for a playoff berth next season. With that in mind, here’s a look at the three players facing the most pressure in 2019-20.

Very little went right for the Chicago Bulls during year two of the team’s rebuild. They won just five of their first 24 games, which prompted the front office to make a coaching change. Moreover, the Bulls failed to make the grade at both ends of the floor.

On top of that, Bulls players missed a combined total of 290 games due to injuries. By the time the season had mercifully come to an end, the Bulls produced just 22 wins — the fourth-worst record in the NBA and the fifth-worst win-loss total in franchise history.

With their sights set on taking the next step in Year 3, the Bulls had a pretty solid offseason. They selected Coby White and Daniel Gafford in the NBA Draft, both of which had some positive moments in Summer League competition. The Bulls also acquired Thaddeus Young, Tomas Satoransky and brought back Ryan Arcidiacono and Shaquille Harrison.

While there is always competition for playing time at various positions, here’s a look at the Bulls’ players who face the most pressure heading into the 2019-20 NBA season.
