The Chicago Bulls have been active during the summer. Here’s a look at the moves they’ve made, along with a complete grade for each of them.

Coming into the second year of their rebuild, the Chicago Bulls were hoping to be in the conference playoff race last season. Unfortunately, that didn’t come close to happening.

From an offensive standpoint, the Bulls were ranked 27th in scoring at 104.9 points per contest and finished with the second-worst offensive rating in the league. Additionally, the Bulls finished 20th in the league in points allowed, giving up 113.4 points per outing and their 113.2 defensive rating placed them at the No. 25 spot in this category.

Given the level of ineptitude in these metrics, it was of little surprise that the Bulls didn’t turn in a banner year. Their 22-60 mark was the fifth-worst in franchise history and it was the team’s first 60-loss season since 2001-02. To be objective, it is important to mention the fact the injury bug reared its ugly head, causing players to miss a total of 290 games.

With a disappointing season behind them, the Bulls knew that having a good offseason was crucial to their hopes of being in a position to contend for a playoff berth next season. Having said that, here’s a look at the moves the Bulls made this offseason as well as a complete grade for each of them.
