2. Playoff experience

Over the course of his lengthy NBA career, Korver has played in 135 postseason games. In case you’re wondering, that’s equivalent to 1.65 full seasons worth of games.

Appearing in the playoffs as a member of the 76ers, Jazz, Bulls, Hawks and Cavaliers, Korver’s experience in so many different locker rooms and situations during the league’s second season will come in handy.

A career 39.1 percent 3-point shooter in the playoffs, Korver is nearly as lethal during this time of the year as he is during the regular season. Since his 34th birthday, that number rises to 41.2 percent on 4.4 attempts per game.

Over that same span, Korver has averaged 7.4 points per game in 21.8 minutes per outing.

Making the NBA Finals in back-to-back seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Korver also brings a championship pedigree to a Milwaukee Bucks team desperately seeking to develop one.

Albeit he struggled from range in both the 2017 and 2018 Finals (5-of-16 and 1-of-11, respectively), simply being in that situation is useful.

One of two players currently on the Bucks who have been to the Finals (George Hill being the other), Korver’s mental makeup and prior experiences are both pluses.

With the Eastern Conference seemingly up for grabs ahead of the season, the Bucks can rest easy knowing they have someone in the locker room who’s been there and done that.
