3. Sharpshooting ability

Let’s get the well-known fact out of the way. Korver is one of the most prolific shooters in the history of the NBA.

Leading the league in 3-point percentage four times throughout his career, leaving him open and allowing him to fire away would be a tremendous mistake for opposing defenses to make.

Canning 42.2 percent of his wide-open threes last season and shooting 40.3 percent on catch-and-shoot threes, Korver’s ability to spot up and knock down shots from deep is nearly unmatched.

When taking one dribble before shooting, that number rose to an absolutely absurd 49.3 percent.

Korver can shoot when it matters the most as well. Over the past three seasons, he’s converted on 42.9 percent of this 3-point attempts in the 4th quarter of games. Simply put, Korver is elite from beyond the arc.

Regardless of the situation, the Bucks can expect him to perform significantly better than an average player from that area.

One of the few downsides to Korver’s offensive game is how predictable he is.

He’s one of the greatest shooters ever but coming off a season in which 72 percent of his field goal attempts came from 3-point range, an off game means his contributions on that end will be completely negated.

That happens very rarely, though, so there shouldn’t be anything for Milwaukee to worry about.
