3. Terrence Ross

The Lakers were looking to add depth to their roster prior to this year’s trade deadline back in February. Coincidentally, Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross was one of the players they were interested in at the time, and rightfully so.

In a reserve role for the Magic last season, Ross posted career highs in scoring (15.1 points per contest) and rebounding (3.5 per game). His 1.7 assists and 1.8 free throw attempts per game were a career best as well.

Although he didn’t shoot the ball extremely well (42.8 percent overall), this conversion rate marked the third-best shooting percentage of his career.

In addition to that, Ross knocked down 38.3 percent of his looks from the land of 3 and he is a career 37.4 percent shooter from beyond the arc.

It is no secret that 3-and-D players are some of the most sought-after players in the league and at 6’7”, not only would Ross be able to give Los Angeles a boost from an offensive standpoint, he would also be able to guard multiple positions as well.
