10. Pascal Siakam wins it against the Phoenix Suns

Who can possibly put about Pascal Siakam’s 2018-19 campaign into words?

Bound to receive the Most Improved Player award by a landslide, Siakam had the definition of a breakout season. He went from being a role player to a borderline All-Star, and all that with an elite player in Leonard sharing the floor with him.

Siakam did have bad games throughout the season. In fact, he scored 10 or fewer points on 18 different occasions out of the 80 total games he played. But even when he failed to score all too many points, he still found a way to stand out.

In a January game against the Phoenix Suns, Siakam took only eight shots, scoring a total of 10 points. His most outstanding two points, though, were by far his game winning layup against the first overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, Deandre Ayton.
