9. Vince Carter gets a standing ovation…again
Even though his departing story was not all that pretty, Vince Carter remains a true Raptors legend.
Carter spent his first six and a half seasons in the NBA in Canada, solidifying himself as one of the top players in the world. He led the Raptors to their first playoff appearance in franchise history, quickly becoming a fan favorite in Toronto.
And even though him demanding a trade away from Toronto definitely made some Raptors fans throw away his jerseys, Carter may be one of the very few NBA players you just can’t hate on.

Vinsanity is, to this day, the franchise’s leader in points per game, averaging 23.4 throughout the 403 games he appeared in. That is, of course, assuming Kawhi Leonard is ineligible due to playing much fewer games.
