2. Murray goes for a career-high 48
On Nov. 6, 2018 Jamal Murray brought down the home crowd in Denver with a career-high 48 points against the Boston Celtics in a 115-107 victory.
The win pushed the Nuggets to a 9-1 record and showed flashes of just how special the 21-year-old out of Kentucky can become.
Murray repeatedly torched the Celtics in the pick-and-roll and had it going from downtown with nine 3-pointers made. What was most impressive about Murray’s performance, though, was the killer instinct he had in the fourth quarter, where he dropped 19 of his 48 points (including 14 of Denver’s final 16 points).
