Memphis Grizzlies: 3 prospects to watch out for in 2019 NBA Draft
1. Darius Garland, PG, Vanderbilt
Darius Garland seems to be a natural fit with the Grizzlies. Not only did he grow up in nearby Nashville and star at Brentwood Academy, but Garland is a tough, intelligent and very quick guard who would be the ideal person to receive the torch from Conley.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see very much of Garland at Vanderbilt as a knee injury cut his season before it ever even got started.

Garland is a great shooter and can create separation easily with his natural handles and quick feet. His medical records will be under great scrutiny, but assuming he is healthy, the Grizzlies may not even have a chance to grab him. They would be lucky for Garland to fall this far.
