2. Jaxson Hayes, C, Texas

Jaxson Hayes would be a bit of a gamble for the Grizzlies, as a season-ending knee injury cut his time short. He won’t be able to participate in any basketball-related activities for quite some time.

However, when Hayes is on, he’s a monster on both ends of the court. The Grizzlies have long lacked someone with athleticism and bounce who could roll to the rim on the offensive end and significantly alter shots on the other.

Hayes could fit in next to Jaren Jackson Jr. to make a formidable, young frontcourt that can switch and cause tons of problems for opposing teams.

Hayes may never be a star, but if he learns to accept his role in the NBA, he could be a very valuable player on a good team.
