5. Kyle Korver

Kyle Korver was acquired by the Jazz through at the 2019 NBA trade deadline. The Jazz sent the expiring contract of Alec Burks as well as two second-round picks to the Cleveland Cavaliers to acquire the veteran sniper.

Korver had a large role for Utah in 54 games in the 2018-19 season, averaging 9.1 points on 38.4 percent 3-point shooting in 20.1 minutes per game. One of its biggest needs heading into last season was shooting from deep and Korver was an immediate solution to that problem.

Although Korver was a key piece for the Jazz, and they would love to keep him around, what he brings to the table is extremely valuable in the NBA and is an attractive trade chip. With one year left on his contract worth roughly $7.5 million, the career 42.9 percent 3-point shooter could be packaged up for a starting-caliber player through trade.

Korver is currently 38 years old and a liability on defense, but many teams would still be very appreciative of his shooting services.
