8. Luke Kennard gets hot against the Cleveland Cavaliers

Luke Kennard should have been Donovan Mitchell or Kyle Kuzma!” Ok, now that we got that out of the way, let’s look at the exact reason why Kennard was drafted.

He was brought in to run off screens and scorch opposing teams from 3-point range. Against the Cleveland Cavaliers, that’s exactly what he did. He put up 26 points in this one, and he was 6-of-7 from 3-point range.

Kennard and Griffin can become an elite duo in the two-man game moving forward. They just need to work on their chemistry together and get more minutes, but both can cut to the basket and they can both leak out to the 3-point line. This wasn’t the first of Kennard’s big games, and as long as he keeps building on his success, this isn’t going to be the last of his games like this either.
