9. Blake Griffin goes off against the Oklahoma City Thunder

Griffin was never a marksman from 3-point range. His career average still sits at 34.2 percent from downtown. This year, thanks to games like this one against the Oklahoma City Thunder where he knocked down a career-high nine 3-pointers, he drained 78 more 3s than in any other season in his career.

The team came up short in this April 5 game, but it wasn’t Blake’s fault with 45 points and seven rebounds to his credit. He did everything he could.

This game gave some excitement about Blake and what the team could be in the future, but it also showed that they need to put some more talent around him to help him out. If just one of Drummond, Jackson or one of the role players had put up a solid game, they could’ve pulled off the upset on the road.

For that night, however, watching Griffin bomb away from 3-point range like he was J.J. Redick was entertaining enough.
