10. Overtime thriller with the Brooklyn Nets

This one was tough to leave this far down, but the game resulted in a loss to the Brooklyn Nets. It’s tough to put it any higher because of that, but it was an exciting game nonetheless.

Griffin and Spencer Dinwiddie battled back and forth down the stretch, with Dindwiddie ultimately landing the final blow. This game was also a huge one for Andre Drummond. He finished with 24 points and 23 rebounds, and he showed how effective he can be when he takes advantage of a mismatch.

Detroit still has a lot of room to grow under Casey, and this game was a prime example of that. They hung tough against a young, up-and-coming team on the road, and they were in it until the end. We all love a buzzer-beater no matter what side we’re on.

If Griffin maintains this level of performance while the rest of the team grows around him, we’ll be in for more exciting moments like this, only hopefully with the Pistons coming out on top next time.
