3. Paul George says his shoulder is fine, but is it?

Going into Game 2 there were questions about Paul George’s shoulder. He answered that question during the game after he hit a shot he flexed his shoulders to show that they were fine.

However, he had talked about how he couldn’t even lift his shoulder at one point, according to Erik Horne of NewsOK:

"“Four days ago I couldn’t even lift my shoulder,” George said after the Thunder’s 104-99 loss to the Trail Blazers in Game 1 of their Western Conference first-round series. “Fast-forward to today, it was the first day I shot the ball.”"

The change was noticeable in Game 2, as George was able to score 27 points and shoot 11-for-20 (55 percent) from the field. However, he only shot 2-for-7 from 3-point range.

George looked fine in Game 2 and continues to say he’s fine, but it’s something to keep an eye on moving forward. He’s a crucial piece for the OKC Thunder to make up these two games at home, but they will need him to be at 100 percent for the rest of the series after the Blazers dominated the first two contests.
