We know that Kevin Huerter can knock down 3-pointers, but on this defensive possession, the former Maryland Terrapin displayed some awareness on the less-glamorous end. It led to an impressive breakaway dunk, finishing the job before Philadelphia 76ers swingman Jimmy Butler could catch him and send his shot into the second row.

17. Trae Young zips a pass to a cutting Kevin Huerter for a dunk
When Hawks general manager Travis Schlenk drafted Huerter and traded for Trae Young during last year’s draft, many drew immediate comparisons to the Golden State Warriors‘ backcourt tandem of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. Those presumed parallels always rang a bit ridiculous, especially considering that Huerter and Young can stand out on their own merits:
