20. Dragan Bender finishes alley-oop for 3-point play

Like every in-arena hype video for the Suns, we’d be remiss in forgetting to include one of Dragan Bender‘s patented two-handed dunks. However, unlike most of those dunks, this one was contested and finished through contact.

In Phoenix’s early April home game against the Utah Jazz, a beautiful set from head coach Igor Kokoskov saw Bender feign a ball-screen for De’Anthony Melton and then dive to the rim behind a Richaun Holmes pick. Melton found Bender with the lob, which he converted over Georges Niang, plus the foul.

19. Mikal Bridges flies past David Bertans for the jam

In mid-November, poor Davis Bertans was on the wrong end of two poster dunks for the Suns. We’ll get to the first one later on this list, but rookie Mikal Bridges supplied one of his best highlights of the season in the fourth quarter, dribbling around a screen from Holmes and attacking the rim.

Thanks to a series of picks distracting the San Antonio Spurs’ defense (shouts to another brilliant set from Kokoskov), Bridges burst toward the rim with zero resistance, launching for the one-handed jam that extended Phoenix’s lead to 22 before Bertans could contest.
