8. Zach LaVine pours in 41 in double-OT win vs. New York Knicks

With just two wins through their first 10 games, the Bulls were hoping to notch a victory against a New York Knicks squad that wasn’t much better than they were. The Bulls once held a double-digit lead in this one, but as they have done many times before, they squandered it.

Neither team could take control of the game through the first 48 minutes or the first overtime period. That is when LaVine decided to take the game into his hands, scoring all of Chicago’s eight points, including the game-winning free throw, to help the Bulls come out on top in double-OT, 116-115.

LaVine was virtually unstoppable for most of the night as he finished the game with an impressive 41 points on 13-for-25 shooting to go along with four rebounds, four assists and three steals. He also got to the charity stripe quite a bit, knocking down 11 of his 14 attempts.
