Toronto Raptors: 5 trade targets to improve 3-point shooting
3. E’Twaun Moore
E’Twaun Moore is a player that was mostly used off the bench throughout the early stages of his career, as he was thought mostly as a good role player to have.
That was, until last season, when the Pelicans decided to have him start. Now, Moore has solidified himself as more than a role player, as he is currently averaging 13.2 points per game on 42.7 shooting from behind the arc.
The New Orleans Pelicans have been seriously underperforming thus far in the 2018-19 season — so much that there is talk about trading their superstar in Anthony Davis in order to start fresh and rebuild from scratch.
With this trade, they receive a young prospect in Malachi Richardson, a useful floor-spacer in Miles and a second round selection in the 2019 NBA Draft. A future first round pick (protected) could be presented in place of Richardson and this year’s second round pick if that’s not enough to convince New Orleans to part with one of its starters.
Despite his December slump, Moore is still a very valuable asset to have and could help enhance Toronto’s chances at winning it all this season.
