It’s over and done

This feud is now a thing of the past.

Draymond Green and Kevin Durant are close friends. They hang out constantly, and occasionally fight like brothers. This just happened to be the most prolific encounter.

Rumors arose this week that Durant will depart this summer, solely due to the exchange with Green. These whisperings feel off-base. It was Green who spearheaded Durant’s recruitment in the first place. He is hardly the bane of KD’s existence..

Here’s what Green had to say, per NBA.com:

"“What happened a few nights ago, Kevin and I spoke. We’re moving forward,” Green said at Thursday afternoon’s shoot-around. “There’s no secret that I am an emotional player. I wear my emotions on my sleeve, I play with that same emotion. Sometimes they get the best of me and it doesn’t work in my favor. “I’m going to live with that because it works in my favor to the good — as my resume speaks and this team’s resume speaks — more so than it doesn’t. So, I’m never going to change who I am.”"

The article says Durant and Green were seen entering Thursday’s shoot-around together. Despite the loss to Houston, this saga can be confirmed as water under the bridge.
