3. Willie Cauley-Stein looked great, but can he be consistent?

Lets give credit where credit is due: Willie Cauley-Stein, the player who probably gets criticized more than any other Kings player, earned praise against the Jazz.

He was not just stuffing the stats sheet with 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal, but he actually made an impact on the game too. He wasn’t just going for the highlight dunk every time, but actually showing a series of moves to get a decent look at the basket. He was even looking for his teammates, helping set up several wide open shots.

Of course, the problem with Willie Cauley-Stein has always been his inconsistency. Fans have only seen him play great for short stints, so it’s hard to believe that he’ll stay consistent for the rest of the season.

If he does stay consistent though, expect the Kings to be a much better team in 2018-19. As he has expressed in his interviews, WCS is determined to get paid this year. Although fans criticized him for making those comments, he will definitely deserve to get paid if he keeps playing like he did against the Jazz.
