2. Make the All-Star Game

If Ingram’s numbers increase as much as they did from year one to year two and he remains healthy, he should have a legitimate chance at making the All-Star team (especially if he hits the 3-ball with consistency).

The Western Conference is loaded with talent both young and old, so it won’t be easy for Ingram to nudge his way into the All-Star Game. Lakers fans will make their voices heard by voting for Ingram to make the starting lineup, though it’s unlikely he’ll reach the event that way.

More than likely, Ingram will have to get voted in by the coaches. In order for this to happen, the Lakers have to be a contending team in the Western Conference by the time January rolls around. If they have a respectable record and Ingram is the clear-cut second best player behind James, he could have a shot at making the All-Star Game.

Usually, good teams carry multiple players into the annual contest highlighting the league’s best. So if the Lakers are one of the top teams, it’s not a stretch that Ingram will make his first All-Star appearance.
