2. Thunder would like Russell Westbrook back

This is an obvious statement, but Westbrook would have made a difference due to the simple fact that Schroder would have slid into his sixth man role. Westbrook, Schroder and George at the end of the game could have put the Thunder over the top, but this game is in the books.

The Thunder got production out of all of their pieces (even Patrick Patterson added seven points) but the Warriors’ depth was too much to handle. There were too many bodies that had to be covered for the Thunder.

Adding Westbrook’s offense could have made a difference to combat Golden State. It is unclear how long he will be out, but having him back will put the Thunder on full throttle mode.

The West is going to be packed with good teams. If Paul George is able to keep this play up along with having the former MVP of the league back, the Thunder can get a head start on securing a good playoff spot.
