Marcus Derrickson:

After scoring 10 points in 12 minutes versus Minnesota, Marcus Derrickson drew the start against Sacramento. He played a whopping 21 minutes … but failed to take the reins in his increased role.

Derrickson scored five points, shooing 2-of-4 from the field (1-of-2 from 3-point range). He tallied seven rebounds, an assist and a turnover.

With Draymond gone, this was Marcus’ chance to make an impact. While seven rebounds are solid, Derrickson did little else to impress Steve Kerr. He shot the ball OK’, however, the volume fell well short of its desired mark.

The grading is tricky here, as Marcus did nothing inherently wrong. He simply failed to grasp a great opportunity. Objectively speaking, he shared the floor with Durant and Klay, both of whom were on fire.

Grade: B-
