Kevin Durant:

Durant dropped 26 points on 10-of-19 shooting, playing before a Seattle crowd that cheered whenever he touched the ball. KD didn’t disappoint his old fan base, playing an energetic 25 minutes.

While Klay utilized shooting spurts, Durant paced himself with a steady, well-rounded effort. He established his inside-outside presence, nailing 2-of-5 from deep, and converting multiple shots near the rim. In addition to his scoring, KD tallied seven assists, six rebounds and a steal.

Durant produced brilliant stretches in each half. He scored 14 points in the second quarter, and nine in an abridged third. At the 3:54 mark, Durant exited the game to a loud ovation from Seattle fans.

Emerald City craved a strong performance from KD. He certainly rose to the occasion. Durant posted an excellent all-around game in his return, and his grade reflects this.

Grade: A
