1. Kevin Knox will win Rookie of the Year

Following a Summer League stat line of 21.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, Kevin Knox has New York’s faithful giddy about what his future holds.

He may not carry as much hype as some of his other rookie counterparts, but Knox clearly has talent that translates very well to the NBA level while also showing improvement on some of his weaknesses, which should allow for a good start to his inaugural season.

As Porzingis slowly works his way back to the court, the Knicks find themselves without a consistent go-to scorer on the perimeter. Knox isn’t a finished product, but similar to how Jayson Tatum performed in the absence of Gordon Hayward, he could find himself with the ball in his hands more than the average rookie.

Not many first-year players get to be the first option for their respective teams. Knox might not ever get there this season, but he’ll certainly have his shot to showcase his talent in a way that should lead to pretty impressive numbers and a realistic shot at becoming the first ROY for the Knicks since 1988.
