Boston Celtics: 5 reasons to be excited for 2018-19 NBA season
2. New starting lineup
Last season the Celtics’ starting lineup looked dangerous with Irving-Brown-Hayward-Tatum-Horford. Sadly, because of Hayward’s injury, Boston was never really given the chance to experiment with it.
The only positive to this injury was that it allowed Tatum and Brown to develop into the players they are today. It appears that they’ll be at full strength and this will be the first time the NBA world is able to see this new lineup.

The Golden State Warriors have the best lineup in the NBA. However, the Celtics are a team that should be considered as one contender to watch as well.
Irving is fun in so many ways with his handles and his ability to shoot the ball. Then there’s the two young wings in Brown and Tatum. The future is bright and it’s always fun to see the development of the two.
Of course, Horford deserves some love too. He does all the little things and is arguably the most important piece to this team.
Probably the most enticing piece to start the season is Hayward. Coming back from the injury will bring a new spice to the starting lineup. His ability to score and shoot the ball will make the C’s that much more dangerous.
This will be the first time NBA fans will get to see this new lineup. On paper, this lineup is one of the better ones in the league.
