1. Stay healthy

Noel was drafted in 2013 but was not able to play due to injury. He also missed time last season due to a thumb injury. Noel has never had a season where he has played all 82 games. In 2014-15 he played 75 games, and in 2015-16 he played 67 games. Those two are the highest returns of his career. Last season, he only played 30 games.

Noel will have to stay healthy next season to have an impact and turn his career around. If that means he will have to take games off due to rest, then so be it.

The Thunder will need the depth and talent he provides during the regular season and in the playoffs. Noel’s ability to block the ball and his ability to create ways to score are invaluable coming off the bench.

After having the worst season of his career last year, Nerlens Noel will have a chance to enjoy a great, full season in OKC. He has proven that when he is healthy he can help a team offensively and defensively. Noel will help the Thunder greatly if he is able to stay on the court.
