After having his name directly linked to Clutch City over the last few offseasons, Carmelo Anthony is finally a member of the Houston Rockets. Here are the three goals for the newcomer in 2018-19.

Despite producing his worst statistical campaign with the Oklahoma City Thunder a season ago, Carmelo Anthony has accomplished almost everything in the game of basketball.

The 34-year-old forward — who guided Syracuse to its first ever NCAA championship in 2003 — is a 10-time NBA All-Star, and has scored over 25,000 points in his 15-year career. The three-time Olympic gold medalist who once starred alongside Russell Westbrook and Paul George is currently getting prepared for his next chapter.

Anthony — who was shipped from the Thunder to the Atlanta Hawks as part of a three-team trade last month — finally came to terms on a one-year, $2.4 million deal to join the Houston Rockets after receiving a buyout to hit the open market and officially clearing waivers late in the summer.

Now, the story that was once a long-winded rumor has now become a reality. Melo will finally receive the chance to team up with Chris Paul and James Harden in the quest for a championship.

Can the man who was once hailed as one of the top scorers in the game find a way to silence his critics in Clutch City? Here are three goals for Carmelo Anthony in 2018-19.
