In a three-team trade involving the Philadelphia 76ers, the Oklahoma City Thunder are sending Carmelo Anthony to the Atlanta Hawks for Dennis Schroder. Here are NBA Trade Grades.

One of the last remaining dominoes of the summer has fallen. With the Oklahoma City Thunder and Carmelo Anthony looking to part ways after one disappointing season together, the two were able to find an amicable solution in the form of a trade.

As reported by ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski, OKC will be sending Melo and a protected 2022 first round pick to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for disgruntled point guard Dennis Schroder and backup big Mike Muscala. Anthony will immediately be waived, with the Houston Rockets looking like the frontrunner to sign him as a free agent.

As the Atlanta Journal-Constitution‘s Chris Vivlamore reports, the trade is actually a three-team deal involving the Philadelphia 76ers. Muscala was expected to join a third team, per Woj, and Vivlamore confirms it will be the Sixers, with Justin Anderson heading to Atlanta and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot joining the Thunder.

According to ESPN‘s Royce Young, the 2022 first-rounder being sent to Atlanta will be lottery-protected (1-14) before conveying as two first round picks the following year.

In one fell swoop, each of these three teams got a little bit of what it wanted.

The question is, what specifically does each team get out of this exchange? In order to sort it all out, here are NBA Trade Grades for all three sides.
