Aaron Holiday

The Pacers took Aaron Holiday with the 23rd pick of the 2018 NBA Draft, and after NBA Summer League, there is no doubt they’re happy with their selection.

As the third Holiday brother to join the NBA, this UCLA product knows a thing or two about playing in the league. His brothers Jrue Holiday and Justin Holiday have carved out stable and reliable roles for themselves over the years, and there is no reason to think Aaron will not be following in their footsteps.

Holiday averaged 20.3 points, 5.8 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game in his junior season before being drafted.

Of course, the haters are going to hate this one, but he did kill it in Summer League, averaging 14.5 points, 6.8 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game. Take a look at his head-turning moves:

Granted, he won’t be able to put those numbers up as a rookie, but with a consistent and league-tested character to add to the locker room, most Pacers fans could be a lot sadder about the loss of Joe Young this summer.

Mostly, it’s an exciting new addition because he only has to operate in the second unit, and with all the added depth, he will have a bevy of opportunity to create offense for his teammates and push the pace.
