Indiana Pacers: Complete 2018 offseason grades

The Indiana Pacers went down swinging in the 2018 NBA Playoffs, and that momentum carried over into an impressive string of moves in the offseason.

Nobody envisioned the Indiana Pacers doing as well as they did last season.

In fact, the team that looked like it got the short end of the stick in the Paul George trade — the same team that got slotted for just one measly nationally televised game — shocked the basketball world and racked up an impressive 48 wins, which was good for the 5-seed in the Eastern Conference.

Now, with LeBron James out of the picture, the East is as wide open as it has ever been. Thankfully, the Pacers were anything but shy during the offseason, adding depth to nearly every position on the basketball court. Pending injury concerns and rookie performance, it’s starting to look like each one of those positions is an upgrade. Here’s a quick overview of their depth chart leading into the season:

If the Pacers were so successful last season with Lance Stephenson and Domantas Sabonis eating up most of the bench minutes, imagine how great they will do this season with the new and improved depth.
