How will the current Los Angeles Lakers roster fit with LeBron James?
2. LeBron will get the best out of his new teammates
Despite what may come off as an overbearing personality, LeBron James has always wanted to get his teammates involved, dating back to his days before he became a high school phenom on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Watch his games now, and it’s easy to see that he takes actual joy in watching teammates play well. Even if they can’t hit the ocean with a pebble, James will continuously have faith in them, passing them the ball and making the right basketball play.

That same mentality should translate over to Los Angeles, where LeBron will look to bring out the best in the Lakers’ young talent.
Of course, just his presence and work ethic on a daily basis will mean so much to LA’s future stars, but it’s the confidence he’ll undoubtedly instill within them that will allow them to grow at a faster pace.
Even if Kuzma is in the midst of a 3-for-15 shooting night, LeBron won’t hesitate to hit him for an open corner 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter. Some may criticize James for that style of play, but it’s simply who he’s always been, more Magic Johnson than Michael Jordan.
To have the trust of a guy with as much stature as LeBron, a guy that many of these baby Lakers grew up watching — their MJ — will make the chemistry come quicker and motivate the youngsters to strive for greatness every day.
