No. 13: Jerome Robinson, Boston College

Still on the clock after their trade with Charlotte, the Clippers selected Boston College’s Jerome Robinson with the 13th overall pick.

Despite being listed as a point guard, Robinson can play both guard positions with the ability to flat out score the basketball.

Averaging 20.8 points per game on 40.9 percent shooting from deep, Robinson can put the ball in the basket from any spot on the court and can play off the ball if necessary, running off screens and spacing the floor.

At 6’5” he can defend both guard positions, potentially forming one of the best defensive backcourts alongside SGA.

He only weighs 188 pounds, which could pose problems as he tries to adjust to the NBA, but strength should come with time. His effort comes and goes on that end as well, but playing with Gilgeous-Alexander and Beverley should motivate him to defend at a higher level.

Because they like Lou Williams in the sixth man role, L.A. needed a legit 2-guard that can score the basketball, and Robinson should be able to put up numbers if he gets the opportunity.
