Washington Wizards: 2017-18 player grades for Bradley Beal
Strengths
Bradley Beal is developing into both a scorer and a distributor for the Wizards, a good thing in the long run for both sides. With Wall out for an extended amount of time due to injury, Beal found himself handling the ball a whole lot more.
The results were pretty interesting considering Washington also had Tim Frazier and Tomas Satoransky to rely upon. Beal averaged 5.9 assists per game with Wall out during the months of February and March.

In February, Washington went 8-4 while head coach Scott Brooks won the Eastern Conference Coach of the Month award. Beal averaged 6.7 assists per contest during that stretch.
In March, things changed for the Washington Wizards as they went to a 6-8 record. Beal averaged just 5.0 assists per game during that span. It’s something to explore for a team that’s struggled to find backcourt depth.
Jodie Meeks was suspended for 25 games back on April 13 for violating the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program. He put up just 6.3 points and 1.6 rebounds through 77 appearances during the regular season. Tim Frazier averaged 3.0 points, 3.3 assists and 1.9 rebounds through 59 appearances. A player they’ll need to give more opportunities to is Tomas Satoransky.
Beal will need to continue to look to do more distributing as he becomes a key on a lot of team’s scouting reports. Working on him finding more shots for John Wall with him at the point should be in the plans for 2018-19.
