4. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, PG — Kentucky

Kentucky Wildcats shooting guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is listed by many draft analysts as a point guard but with the Philadelphia 76ers, he serves as a solid combo-guard option to have. At 6’6″, he has the ability to play either guard spot and in some scenarios, the small forward position.

The Sixers have a young core of Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz to build around. Gilgeous-Alexander looks like a reserve for the time being considering Simmons looks solid at the point role. Depending on how things go with J.J. Redick, the team could have a hole to fill at the shooting guard position. Markelle Fultz may be busy proving himself alongside Gilgeous-Alexander this summer.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander isn’t a day one starter, but he could certainly grow into the role. He took home Most Valuable Player honors in the SEC Tournament this past March, averaging a team-high 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game while shooting 55.3 percent from the field.

He’s got a seven-foot wingspan and tons of upside after emerging as the Wildcats’ best prospect in 2017-18. If he’s still on the board at No. 10, he’d be a solid selection.
