3. 3-point shooting shouldn’t be an issue in this series

The Philadelphia 76ers should have zero issues with their 3-point shooting this postseason. It’s surprising considering 3-point shooting was the Sixers’ biggest weakness last season. Now, it’s their biggest strength after they shot 18-of-28 (64.3 percent) from behind the arc in Game 1. Anytime you shoot better from the arc than from the floor, you’re well on your way to a victory.

J.J. Redick and Dario Saric were 4-for-6, Marco Belinelli shot 4-for-7 and Ersan Ilyasova was 3-for-4 from behind the 3-point line in Game 1. Belinelli finished with 25 points off the bench while Ilyasova had 17 points off the bench.

Recent outcomes show how good this team is at spreading the wealth and stretching the floor. They finished the game with 34 assists as a team and only had 10 turnovers in the game. They made it look easy one game into the series. Miami needs to adjust and fast or it could be in for an early exit from postseason play.
