The Brooklyn Nets had plenty of uninspiring takeaways from the 2017-18 NBA season, but five significant ones stuck out to those who watched the team play.

To say the least, the Brooklyn Nets‘ 2017-18 season did not go well. From opening night, injuries plagued the roster, forcing head coach Kenny Atkinson to think outside the box with rotations.

Of course, Atkinson did his absolute best to make as much lemonade out of the lemons as he could. Unfortunately, the lemons were too copious, making for a generally disappointing season.

Not that much was expected of the team to begin with. After barely scraping together 20 wins last season, general manager Sean Marks had to get very creative over the offseason. His additions were moderately promising, but the team was so barren of hope before said transactions, any random setbacks would be inflated by context.
