4. Ride the wave of 3-point shooters

During their 12-game winning streak, the Philadelphia 76ers are shooting 38.1 percent from 3-point land and averaging 12.5 makes per game. Behind the prowess of J.J. Redick, Robert Covington, Dario Saric and Marco Belinelli, the Sixers have figured out a solid 3-point attack to complement what Ben Simmons brings with his floor game.

Covington, Redick, Saric and Belinelli are all averaging at least two made 3-pointers during Philadelphia’s current streak. Redick is shooting 42.1 percent, Covington is shooting 39.8 percent, Saric is shooting 42.6 percent and Belinelli is shooting 43.1 percent during that span.

It’s fitting that Belinelli has fit in so well considering he was a late addition to the roster in February. He’s made a solid impact in just 23 appearances off the bench for the Sixers. He’s put up double figure scoring in nine consecutive games for Philadelphia. He had 22 points on 9-of-10 shooting (3-for-4 from the arc) against the Charlotte Hornets in a 119-102 victory on Sunday afternoon.

Riding their wave of 3-point shooters could take them places in the NBA Playoffs. It will be interesting to see their point of attack on Friday against the Cavaliers.
