The 2017-18 NBA season is moving right along. As teams prepare for the playoffs, we take a look at those asserting themselves in Week 22.

The post All-Star break lull looks to be over as March is halfway through. As teams in the NBA look to put themselves in better playoff position, we take a look at some teams on winning streaks.

The biggest head-turner has been the Toronto Raptors. They’ve won 11 games in a row and sit atop the Eastern Conference standings. Below them, the Indiana Pacers lurk in third place. The Eastern Conference playoff race is just heating up and shaping up to be an interesting one as April approaches.

In the West, the Portland Trail Blazers have won 11 games in a row. They’ve been a pleasant surprise at fourth place in the conference standings. The Utah Jazz have moved into playoff position with an eight-game winning streak of their own. They’re currently seventh in the standings with a 39-30 record. The Houston Rockets‘ win-streak counter hit a reset recently, but they’re back up to three wins in a row already.

Of course, there’s also losing streaks. The Memphis Grizzlies still are slumping with their losing streak at a whopping 19 games. In the East, the New York Knicks have lost nine games in a row and counting.

With that being said, there are a number of overachievers and underperformers to recognize as the week comes to an end. Here’s a look at the Week 22 edition.
