James Harden ($10,500)

James Harden is almost always a safe play. The dude is integral to his team’s offense whether he’s getting it done by scoring himself or racking up a huge amount of assists. Over the past three games he’s scored 50.25, 52.75 and 62.75 fantasy points.

While his matchup is tough going on the road against the Toronto Raptors in Toronto, the Houston Rockets are on a 17-game win streak — something they’ll do whatever they can to preserve. Harden and the Rockets will want to keep distance from the Golden State Warriors while showing they’re better than any team the Eastern Conference has to offer.

One stat that’s crucial to James Harden going off is his ability to get to the free throw line. Luckily for this matchup, the Toronto Raptors are bottom four in the league in opponent free throw attempts. The Raptors play intense physical defense, which inherently causes more fouls.
