Nikola Jokic ($9,300)

Nikola Jokic was on some other level when he played the Cleveland Cavaliers last, finishing with 36 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and 10 free throws while shooting 85.7 percent from the field. He totaled 61.25 fantasy points that game.

It’s been a few weeks since Jokic went off like that; the hope is with head coach Mike Malone essentially begging him to be more aggressive, he’ll keep this level of production up through the rest of the regular season.

Right now, the Denver Nuggets need Jokic to show up. They currently sit ninth in the Western Conference, tied in games back with the Los Angeles Clippers. The West is just too close for the Nuggets to lose any more games, especially to a team like the Lakers, who have been having an up-and-down year.

Luckily for Jokic, the Lakers don’t really have anybody who can guard him (to be honest, nobody can really guard him effectively when he’s engaged). Look for him to put up big numbers in a must-win game for the Nuggets.
