Orlando Magic: 5 players they could regret letting go
By Luke Duffy
Another disappointing season means the Orlando Magic are going to be a team that shakes up its roster soon. Here are five guys they could regret letting go.
For the Orlando Magic, this season has not gone to plan for them at all. Early talk of being in the playoff hunt ended quicker than expected, and injuries and underperformance haven’t helped.
Their recent loss to the entirely beatable Sacramento Kings represents a new low, and the Magic are now the only team in league history to have been pegged back by the hot hand of Garrett Temple.
Poor losses aside, and there have been plenty of them, essentially every player has come in for some sort of stick from fans and experts alike this season.
Most of it is warranted, albeit at times harsh, but it does raise an interesting question. There’s no doubt the team will shake up its roster, potentially before the trade deadline and also in the summer.

But of all the players currently on the team, which ones could end up returning to haunt the franchise?
This is a question every organization faces, and it happens all the time. Still, it feels much more topical with the Magic. After all, the case can be made that they’ve let an entire team of capable players leave the team during this prolonged rebuild.
That band of former players is led by first time All-Star Victor Oladipo, and another who could have made the cut in Tobias Harris. So with that in mind, who are the five guys currently on the team who the Magic could add to their growing list of regrets down the line?
