Portland Trail Blazers: Checking in with the G League players

Wilcox played four seasons at the University of Washington and then was selected with the 28th pick in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. The guard played two seasons with the Clippers than got traded to Orlando.
Wilcox got released by the Magic and was picked up by the Blazers. He underwent knee surgery and then got assigned to the Santa Cruz Warriors. He was been out rehabbing his knee all season.
This will be Wilcox’s sixth time in the G League since joining the NBA. His career G League numbers are 16.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, shooting 42 percent from deep.
He is a 6’5″ shooting guard and when healthy, could be a nice shooter off the bench for the Blazers.

In a recent Instagram post, Wilcox said he was thankful for Blazers taking a chance on him and helping him get healthy.
