In Week 12 of NBA Power Rankings for 2017-18, the Raptors, Timberwolves and Thunder are on the rise as we make New Year’s resolutions for all 30 teams.

After a one-week holiday hiatus, 2017-18 NBA Power Rankings are back for Week 12, this time to make New Year’s resolutions are all 30 teams.

Over the last two weeks, we’ve seen plenty of change-ups around the league. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Oklahoma City Thunder are streaking, the Houston Rockets and Cleveland Cavaliers are struggling and quite a few tankers are actually stringing together wins.

In the spirit of the new year, however, we’ll be taking a look ahead along with the past two weeks of NBA action, in an attempt to figure out where every team needs to better itself in 2018.

Like most New Year’s resolutions, these commitments are not necessarily goals for the whole calendar year, but are more focused on the first few months (or even weeks) of 2018. We all know our New Year’s resolutions are mostly forgotten by March, so in some of these cases, a few teams might be dealing with more of a short-term focus than something that’s attainable for the entire year.

Bearing all this in mind, here’s the latest batch of NBA Power Rankings!
