Top 4 Shooting Guards

  1. James Harden ($11,000) vs. Los Angeles Lakers
  2. Bradley Beal ($8,100) vs. Chicago Bulls
  3. Marcus Smart ($5,800) vs. Brooklyn Nets
  4. Andrew Wiggins ($5,500) vs. Indiana Pacers

Rationale:

  • A left elbow injury isn’t expected to keep Wizards guard Bradley Beal out of the lineup. Keeping Beal on the bench is possibly the only way to slow him down as a scorer. Beal has poured in 20 or more points in each of his past three games, while connecting five times from 3-point range. The Bulls are allowing opponents to convert 10.6 shots a night from 3-point range, giving Beal an opportunity to extend his run of 20 or more points Sunday.
  • A sprained ankle leaves the status of Andrew Wiggins questionable for New Year’s Eve, but if he is able to go, he is worth considering for FanDuel NBA lineups. Even while playing against the Milwaukee Bucks on a sprained ankle, Wiggins managed to pour in 21 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field with four conversions from 3-point range. Wiggins has connected nine times from beyond the arc in the last two games, adding to his value in FanDuel NBA leagues.
